The problem

Ontario grows world-class mosquitoes. We shut them down.

Warm, humid summers and endless standing water make Ontario a mosquito paradise — and your yard the buffet. Repellent candles and zappers don't touch the population; a barrier treatment does.

  • Kills on contact, repels for weeksThe treatment knocks down adult mosquitoes resting in your foliage and keeps repelling new arrivals for about three weeks.
  • Stops the next generationWe treat standing water that can't be dumped — pool covers, drainage, pond edges — with larvicide so eggs never become biters.
  • Targets where they hideMosquitoes rest on the undersides of leaves, under decks and in dense shade during the day. That's exactly where we spray.
The service

What's included in every visit

Full-property barrier spray

Backpack misting of foliage, hedges, fence lines, under decks and shaded resting zones — the full perimeter of your usable yard.

Standing-water treatment

Health Canada–registered larvicide for water that can't be drained, cutting off breeding at the source.

21-day protection cycle

We return every three weeks, May through October, and re-spray free between visits if biting returns.

How it works

From first call to full protection

Property assessment

Your technician maps shade lines, breeding water and mosquito resting habitat, then walks you through the plan.

Barrier application

A fine mist is applied to foliage and structures with a backpack sprayer. It dries in about 30 minutes — then the yard is all yours.

Season-long protection

Automatic re-treatment every 21 days. You'll get a text the day before, and you don't need to be home.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How much does mosquito control cost?

Season visits start at $89 for a typical suburban lot; larger or waterfront properties are quoted after a free assessment. One-time event sprays start at $199.

Is it safe for my kids, dog and garden?

Yes. Products are Health Canada–registered and applied by licensed technicians. Keep everyone off the grass for about 30 minutes while it dries, then use the yard normally. We never spray vegetable gardens or blooming flowers.

Will it kill bees and butterflies?

We apply when pollinators are least active and never treat blooms, so impact on beneficial insects is minimal. For pollinator gardens we offer a botanical treatment option — just ask.

What reduction can I expect?

Most clients see an 85–90% drop in mosquito activity after the first application, with the biggest difference at dusk. Heavily wooded or waterfront lots may take two visits to hit full effect.

Can you spray just once for a party or wedding?

Yes — our event spray is applied 24–48 hours before your event for maximum knockdown, and it's our most-booked service for cottage weddings in the Kawarthas.
